Gigarama.net is new format of an old concept. Think of Gigarama.net as ‘dating service’ for the entertainment industry. Venues can search for acts based on genres specific to their local market. Acts can list their skills and genre to secure gigs in their area. Should a venue lose an act at the last minute, a quick search of “Entertainers Available!” listings will enable Venues to easily find qualified professional talent on short notice. The same for the act. A gig is cancelled at the last moment, a quick search in “Entertainers Wanted!” listings appears for the member act. Thus no gig goes unfilled.
Gigarama.net does not get involved with the financial arrangements between Venues and the Acts. We do not take a percentage of the fees. We are not acting as either a booker or an act. Once our database is populated, we charge a flat monthly service fee for access. All members will enroll for 30 day terms. Renewal occurs automatically until a member gives a 30 day notice to resign from the service. Billing will occur on 25th day of each calendar month.
It is the mission of Gigarama.net to be means of access for Venues to find new Acts and for Acts to spread their music to new audiences.
